Happy, the National Zoo’s lone male Nile hippopotamus, is leaving the capital for the chillier climes of the Milwaukee County Zoo, officials said. But no worries: His new digs will include a pool, a sandy beach and two female hippos. His new name is going to be “Happier,” one zoo official joked.
