Update: These aren’t the Hornets that finished second to the Lakers in the Western Conference two seasons ago. Former UCLA guard Darren Collison has played well in Chris Paul’s absence, but the Hornets miss their floor leader, who will be sidelined again by a sprained ankle. The Lakers handled New Orleans with ease Nov. 9, 104-88, as DJ Mbenga had his first career double-double (10 points and 12 rebounds).
