Gold Class Cinemas For those who think the ArcLight is slumming it, there’s Gold Class Cinemas, a no-beating-around-the-bush name for the chain of upscale theaters that serve cocktails and epicurean delights such as kobe beef burgers in ultra-plush seating with a call button for your waiter. The newest outpost opens today in PasadenaOne Colorado, 42 Miller Alley, Pasadena. (626) 639-2260. www.goldclasscinemas.com.
POP MUSIC
Royal Crown Revue Swing revivalists Royal Crown Revue have kept themselves quite busy since their heyday at the Brown Derby, where they spawned a legion of lindy-hoppers in the mid 1990s. After recent collaborations with Bette Midler and Gene Simmons, RCR closes out a three-week residency at the Mint, playing their hits like “Hey Pachuco,” as well as new material. The Mint. 6010 W. Pico Blvd. 8:30 p.m. $15 advance, $18 at door. (323) 954-9400. themintla.com.
LudoBites Chef Ludovic Lefebvre’s pop-up restaurant LudoBites at Breadbar was a smash success, and when it ended in August, foodies hungered for more. Amid rumors that he would launch a brick-and-mortar restaurant, Lefebvre has partnered with art gallery/Japanese maid cafe Royal/T for a new incarnation of LudoBites, which debuts tonight. Royal/T, 8910 Washington Blvd., Culver City. Prices vary, reservations required. (310) 559-6300. www.ludolefebvre.com.
