Baby’s body found in dumpster in Stanton

The body of an infant was found in a trash bin in Stanton on Wednesday evening, authorities said.
The grim discovery was made about 7 p.m. at Katella Avenue and Knott Street, near a busy shopping center, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said. The trash bin was located behind a Mexican restaurant, according to authorities.
Investigators cordoned off the area and were searching the area for clues and possible witnesses late Wednesday.
