Re “Long live the second Rose Parade,” Opinion, Dec. 31
This year’s Rose Parade theme might have been more correctly titled, “Here’s Your Hat. But What’s Your Hurry?”
“Hats Off to Entertainment” could have been more entertaining if some of the floats had broken down like in the old days, allowing viewers time to appreciate their beauty and design. Thanks to the dictates of television, as described in Joe Mathews’ Op-Ed article, it was zoom in and zoom on.
