‘Crank 2: High Voltage’

It’s not easy being Chev Chelios. Just ask Jason Statham, the actor who played the assassin in 2006’s “Crank.” In that movie, Chelios learns he has been injected with poison and must keep his adrenaline flowing to stay alive. In “Crank 2: High Voltage,” opening April 17, Statham is back as Chelios, and this time he’s in hot pursuit of the Chinese mobster who has stolen his now nearly indestructible heart. Hollywood photographer David Strick was on the set last May, capturing the fight scenes and the special-effects makeup, such as the oversize caricature mask for Statham.
