Leading contributors: Brad Lewis of Simi Valley scored 24 points. Antonio Lopez of Thousand Oaks scored 18 points.
The scoop: Simi Valley trailed the entire game but began to wear down the Lancers with defensive pressure. The Pioneers missed on three shots in the last 10 seconds that could have tied it.
Why it matters: Thousand Oaks took over first place in the Marmonte League.
