VS. TAMPA BAY
Time: 7.
On the air: TV: Ch. 56; Radio: 830.
Where: Honda Center.
Records: Ducks 21-16-5, Lightning 11-19-10.
Record vs. Lightning: Last played in 2006-07.
Update: The Ducks begin a three-game homestand. They have won their last two home games after losing their previous three. Tonight’s game will be the finale of Corey Perry’s four-game suspension for an elbow to the head of Philadelphia’s Claude Giroux. The Lightning, which hasn’t played in Anaheim since Dec. 14, 2005, will be concluding a back-to-back sequence after playing Thursday night in Phoenix. Entering that game, the team was 6-11-6 under Rick Tocchet, who replaced Barry Melrose as coach in mid-November. Steven Stamkos, the top overall draft pick last June, had four goals and 14 points before Thursday’s game, barely enough to put him in the top 20 rookie scorers. He also had a minus-11 plus/minus rating.
