Your article “When to Call in the Pros” [“More for Your Money,” Dec. 7] was simply terrific, straightforward, truthful and made it easy to understand the logic of why travel agencies must charge fees for some services, and what we do to earn a living.

I have been in the business for more than 30 years and am not usually a fan of travel writers, but your article was one of the best I have ever read. Thank you.
