Regarding The Times’ reporting on the terrific Chelsea versus Inter Milan match, I know the sporting “establishment” loathes soccer, but, seriously, what other sporting event in Los Angeles drew over 80,000 spectators?
Surely an event that sells out the Rose Bowl and features some of the finest and highest-paid athletes in the world deserves better coverage than Grahame L. Jones’ measly 300-word article.
