How can we expect John Lackey and Chone Figgins to show any loyalty toward the Angels organization when that same front office won’t show any respect to them by opening up contract negotiations? I commend Arte Moreno for opening up his wallet in the past, but this wait-until-the-last-minute strategy isn’t cutting it.

Don’t expect to see Lackey or Figgins wearing Angels red next year.
