Police said Sunday they had arrested two men suspected of killing a woman inside a Motel 6 over the weekend.
The woman, who has not yet been identified, was found with multiple gunshot wounds about 1:30 a.m. Saturday in a room at the motel on South Garey Avenue. Witnesses told police they heard several gunshots and people running away. Paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
Albert Martinez, 24, and Cesar Sierra, 31, were arrested Saturday evening after police, acting on a tip, spotted them in a car in south Pomona.
A gun was found in the car, but it is unclear whether it was used in the shooting, police said. Martinez and Sierra were being held without bail on suspicion of murder, police said.
