Update: The Ducks, winless in their last three games and 1-3-1 in their last five, are three points out of the last West playoff spot but would have to pass four teams to get there. All of their last four games have been decided by one goal: they won the first one, lost the second in overtime and lost 3-2 decisions at home to Dallas and Minnesota. Defenseman Bret Hedican (back spasms) is not skating and won’t play tonight. The Canucks are coming off a 3-2 loss to the Kings on Monday. They had won their previous four games and they’re 12-3 since Feb. 3.
