Dozens of youths used sledgehammers and iron bars to smash cars, banks and storefronts in an upscale district of central Athens in the latest outbreak of violence in Greece.
Several dozen stores and cars were damaged in the attack, which sent people in the Kolonaki area fleeing. Leaflets at the scene identified the attackers as anarchists.
