Re “Ponying up for public school,” March 8
Steve Lopez’s column on parents being hit up at Ivanhoe Elementary -- an L.A. Unified School District school that ranks 14th out of 484 -- because the wider citizenry won’t pay up depicts an unfortunate situation.
Now, to round out the picture, please visit a meeting seeking parent support at the LAUSD’s 484th-ranked elementary school and tell us what they’re up against.
