Let Olson move

Re “Keep ex-SLA member here, police ask,” March 10
Why would California have greater interest in monitoring former Symbionese Liberation Army member and fugitive Sara Jane Olson than would Minnesota?
While Olson was on the lam, she “monitored” herself for years and did an excellent job rehabilitating herself, as a wife and mother. She came back and served her time.
Now some in California, with its overpopulated prisons and its high recidivism rate, want to require Olson to serve her parole here.
Our state is broke, and our prison and parole system have been dismal failures. Minnesota is willing and able to let her serve parole there. Let that woman go home.
