Phoenix 119, at Philadelphia 115: Jason Richardson scored 29 points, Steve Nash had 21 points and tied his season high with 20 assists, and the Suns eclipsed the 100-point barrier for the eighth consecutive game to open a season, which hadn’t happened since the 1990-91 season. Andre Iguodala scored 24 points for the 76ers.
Utah 95, at New York 93: Carlos Boozer and Andrei Kirilenko each scored 23 points and the Jazz won in New York for the first time in more than five years. Knicks rookie Toney Douglas had a career-high 21 points.
at Golden State 146, Minnesota 105: Kelenna Azubuike scored a season-high 31 points and the Warriors sent the Timberwolves to their seventh consecutive loss.
New Orleans 112, at Clippers 84: Chris Paul had 24 points and 10 assists to help end the Clippers’ winning streak at three games.
