Texas Christian 83, Cal State Northridge 65: Edvinas Ruzgas scored 24 points and made five of the Horned Frogs’ 12 three-point baskets in a first-round game in the West bracket of the preseason NIT at Tempe, Ariz. Ruzgas tied his career high in points and three-point baskets as TCU (2-0) extended its streak to 343 games with a made three-pointer. Kenny Daniels led the Matadors (0-2) with 14 points, while Lenny Daniel had 11 points and eight rebounds.
