Three women -- two of them dead -- were found with stab wounds Wednesday at a vacant house in Sun Valley, authorities said.
The victims were discovered at 11:40 a.m. when a neighbor spotted one of the bodies at the house in the 7800 block of Irvine Avenue and called police, said Officer Gregory Baek of the Los Angeles Police Department.
One of the women was unconscious but still breathing, Baek said.
She was taken to a hospital with multiple stab wounds to her upper body and scratches on her wrists.
Her condition was not available.
Baek said she is considered “a person of interest” in the case and will be questioned when she is able to speak with investigators.
The other two women, whose throats appeared to have been slashed, were found in separate locations on the property, police said.
Authorities believe that the women were related and are trying to piece together what happened.
The names and ages of the victims were not immediately available.
