ACC: South Florida upsets No. 18 Florida State, 17-7

South Florida 17, at No. 18 Florida State 7: Redshirt freshman B.J. Daniels ran for 126 yards and threw two touchdown passes in his first start to lead the Bulls (4-0) over the Seminoles (2-2) in the first meeting between the schools.
No. 15 Texas Christian 14, at Clemson 10: The Horned Frogs (3-0) held the Tigers (2-2) to 125 yards in the second half.
at Georgia Tech 24, No. 22 North Carolina 7: Quarterback Josh Nesbitt ran for 97 yards and two touchdowns, and the Yellow Jackets (3-1, 2-1) held the Tar Heels (3-1, 0-1) to 154 yards.
at Boston College 27, Wake Forest 24 (OT): Wes Davis recovered a fumble in overtime to foil Wake Forest’s drive for a winning touchdown and the Eagles (3-1, 1-1) got three touchdown passes from Dave Shinskie. The Demon Deacons are 2-2, 0-1.
Rutgers 34, at Maryland 13: George Johnson recovered a Maryland fumble in the end zone to give Rutgers the lead, and the Scarlet Knights (3-1) also scored on an interception return against the bumbling Terrapins (1-3).
at North Carolina State 38, Pittsburgh 31: Toney Baker scored from two yards out with 6:28 left and the Wolfpack defense made a late stand to preserve the wild victory. Both teams are 3-1.
at Duke 49, North Carolina Central 14 The Blue Devils (2-2) had almost 500 yards of offense against the Eagles (0-4).
