July 5th holiday closures

On Monday, in observance of Independence Day, the following schedule is in effect:
Government: City, county, state and federal offices are closed
Mail: No delivery; post offices are closed.
Libraries: Most are closed, including Los Angeles, Long Beach, Santa Monica and Beverly Hills.
Banks: Most are closed.
Schools: Public campuses are closed.
Public transit: MTA buses and Metro Rail lines will operate on a weekend schedule. Metrolink will not have train services, with the exception of the Antelope Valley Line. Foothill Transit is running limited routes. A full list is online at https://www.foothilltransit.org or at (800) 743-3463.
Trash collection: County services will not be interrupted, but the city of Los Angeles city will postpone collection by one day.
