Division 6A
Kilpatrick (14-10) vs. West Valley Christian (20-3), Friday, 6:15 p.m. at Ontario Colony High — Kilpatrick is a juvenile detention camp in Malibu whose football program gained attention through the 2006 movie “Gridiron Gang.” Now the basketball program is enjoying success, including a victory over 5A finalist Sierra Canyon. Anthony Hubbard, moved up from junior varsity, has been the top scorer in the playoffs. Guard Temitayo Osilesi, averaging 14 points, leads West Valley Christian.
Division 4AA
Los Angeles Price (28-3) vs. Orange Lutheran (23-7), Friday, 6:30 p.m. at Santa Ana Mater Dei High — The good news for Orange Lutheran is that it has played Mater Dei twice. That should be good preparation for talented Price, which has perhaps the No. 1 player in the state in guard Allen Crabbe. Price’s quickness and explosiveness will be tough to deal with. Guards Gabe York and Tyler Funk will need big games for Orange Lutheran.
Division 4A
Crespi (20-11) vs. Alemany (15-16), Friday, 8:30 p.m at Mater Dei — Junior Matt Mounier has scored in double figures in 20 consecutive games for Crespi, making him the player that Alemany must contain in this Mission League rematch. Crespi has beaten the Warriors twice. Alemany has gotten hot in the playoffs behind junior Jordan Fuller.
