Dr. Jorge Rodriguez, the Orange County gastroenterologist known as ‘Dr. Disgusting’ on the daytime television show “The Doctors,” has put his home in Laguna Beach up for sale at $2.649 million.

Set high on a hillside in South Laguna Beach, the cantilevered two-story home features vaulted ceilings, clerestory windows and wide views of the surrounding coastline.

Open-plan interiors of more than 3,200 square feet include a renovated kitchen with a wide bar, a breakfast nook, a formal dining room, three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The family and living room areas each have a fireplace with a large Travertine hearth.

Sets of French doors open to various terraces and ocean-view patios, including a view balcony off the master suite. There’s also an attached two-car garage.

Rodriguez, 57, has made numerous appearances on the Emmy award-winning daytime series, now in its eighth season. His segments often deal with illnesses and afflictions that people are embarrassed to discuss, earning him the nickname “Dr. Disgusting” on the show.

He bought the house in 1995 for $560,000, property records show.
