“Dancing With the Stars” alums -- and exes -- Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovski will reunite on the New York stage.
The once-engaged pair will perform Luis Bravo’s “Forever Tango” at Broadway’s Walter Kerr Theater on July 9-28.
The Tony-winning production, which first appeared on Broadway in 1997, traces tango beginnings from the underbelly of 19th century Argentina into a staged sexual tug-of-war in sequins.

Smirnoff, a five-time U.S. national champion, and Chmerkovski, who choreographed “Le Reve” in Las Vegas, made their Broadway debuts in the 2009 production of “Burn the Floor.”
The pair got engaged the same year and underwent a bitter breakup a few months later.
Should make for an interesting opening night.
