'The Walking Dead'

It’s the most popular drama on TV, but the gore apparently proved too much for the sensibilities of the Emmy voters. The zombie series received just one nomination for prosthetic makeup and was shut out of all the writing, directing and acting categories.  (Gene Page / Associated Press)
