Emmys 2014: Let’s discuss who won, who lost and everything in between

Join Los Angeles Times television critic Mary McNamara, awards columnist Glenn Whipp and staff writer Yvonne Villarreal for a post-Emmys live chat on Tuesday at noon PDT.
They’ll be sharing their thoughts on Monday evening’s winners and ... well ... let’s call them the “less fortunate,” because it’s an honor just to be nominated, right?
Among the topics: Couldn’t the Television Academy have given us one surprise winner, you know, somebody who hasn’t won an Emmy or 12 in the past? Is “Modern Family” on the level of “Frasier” now that both share the record with five series Emmys each? Should low-key host Seth Meyers have given way to Jimmy Kimmel midway through the show? How did “all right, all right, all right” turn into “oh no, oh no, oh no”? And did voters make the right call?
