Join actor Aden Young and Times staff writer Glenn Whipp at 4 p.m. PDT Thursday for a live video chat about Young’s work on “Rectify,” the Sundance Channel’s acclaimed new television series.
Young plays Daniel Holden, who returns to his small Georgia hometown after spending 19 years in prison for the rape and murder of his girlfriend. Daniel’s conviction has been vacated due to new DNA evidence, but the community -- and members of his own family -- remain divided over his guilt.
The show’s debut season contained six immaculately constructed episodes that focused on the challenges facing Daniel as he tried to reconnect with his old life and any sense of normalcy after being on death row for nearly two decades.

We’ll talk to Young about how he found his way into the show’s haunting, enigmatic character, filming the hard-edged prison scenes and maybe if he needed to brush up on his “Sonic the Hedgehog” skills for the show.
Bring your questions and we’ll try our best to provide the answers, though if you’re looking for a definitive take on Daniel’s innocence, you’re probably out of luck. Young says he remains in the dark on that topic.
