Country music’s Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and Kris Kristofferson turned heads as they walked together down the red carpet at the Grammys on Sunday.
The trio is scheduled to perform in honor of Kristofferson’s lifetime achievement award.
Looking dapper and very salt-and-pepper, the men took questions on the red carpet but kept their answers to a minimum. Nelson’s handlers said he was tired and would be skipping the carpet for the most part.

Still, they stopped for a moment to say that the best part about Kristofferson getting recognized on Sunday was, as Kristofferson and Nelson said in unison, “Being together.”
As far as rehearsals for their performance go, the men are old pros.
Asked how long it took to get their act together, Nelson said: “However long it took to sing the song.”
