Michael Jordan’s XX9 Low’s memetastic debut

Michael Jordan's unreleased XX9 Lows may not be in stores, but they might be in high demand now that a teen has put the spotlight on them when he asked the meme-related question "What are those?"
If the meme doesn't sound familiar you may not be "on that Vine stuff" as Jordan pointed out in the video, but basically it started about a month ago when Brandon Moore "Young Busco" on Instagram videotaped police officers arresting a young woman. He is heard on the video asking one of the police officers "What are those??" while pointing the camera to his shoes.
It may have started as a cheeky way to question authority or ridicule people for wearing ugly shoes, but the teen who asked Jordan, Bryce Lyle, said he "wouldn't mind" if Jordan sent some sneakers his way on his Twitter account:

Lyle asked the basketball legend during a Q&A in Michael Jordan's Flight School basketball camp. Even though Jordan seemed confused at first (he had to ask one of his advisors why all the kids were laughing), he still got the last laugh. For now only Jordan himself can sport the exclusive sneakers.
