Public fruit maps: Fallen Fruit, the long-term art collaboration that was started by mapping fruit trees growing on or over public property around L.A., presents a set of public fruit maps and a video called “The Loneliest Fruit in the World” to be exhibited at UCLA’s Art|Sci Gallery on Thursday. Fallen Fruit artists David Burns, Matias Viegener and Austin Young hand-draw maps that serve as guides for foraging while also showcasing the possibility of alternative urban spaces to create new public experiences. The opening reception starts at 5 p.m. www.artsci.ucla.edu.
