Where to eat in peace?

Apparently the level of noise at restaurants has gotten to some people. After an article about restaurant noise (“Taking a noise snapshot at L.A. restaurants”) ran in the latest Saturday section, we were inundated with emails from those who say they can’t take it anymore.

But among the complaints about how loud the dining experience has gotten were a few suggestions on where to enjoy and be able to have a conversation:

Cafe Stella in Silver Lake

The Daily Grill chain of restaurants

Mezze in West Hollywood

Canter’s on Fairfax

Boxwood Cafe at the London West Hollywood
