Jerry Douglas’ Encino home for sale again, for $2,695,000

Update: Actor Jerry Douglas, who has played “The Young and the Restless” patriarch John Abbott since 1985, and his wife, Kymberly Bankier,have re-listed their Encino home for sale at $2,695,000.
The two-story traditional house, built in 1951, sits on half an acre. It has a total of five bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms in 5,335 square feet. There are vaulted ceilings, French doors and three fireplaces. The landscaped grounds include manicured lawns, a built-in barbecue, a covered patio, a fenced pool and spa area and a two-story guesthouse of about 900 square feet.
Douglas, 76, whose television guest appearances date from the early ‘60s, released the CD “The Best Is Yet to Come,” a collection of classic standards, in 2006.The property had been on the market earlier in the year at $3,999,000.
The listing agent is Harriet Cameron, Prudential California Realty, Sherman Oaks. The property is also co-listed with Kristi Sindt from Prudential California Realty, Westlake Village.
