Lenny Krayzelburg relists Sunset Strip home at $3,995,000

Update: Olympicbackstroker Lenny Krayzelburg stayed in his lane when setting world time records, but he seemed to go a bit off course when it came to the timing and pricing of his home.
The 2000 and 2004 Olympic gold medalist listed his Los Angeles three-bedroom, 3 1/2 -bathroom contemporary last September for $5,675,000. In keeping with the realities of today’s market, however, Krayzelburg now has relisted the newly staged 3,750-square-foot residence in the Sunset Strip area for $3,995,000.
Krayzelburg bought the Doheny Estates house in March 2007 for $2.61 million, according to the Multiple Listing Service. “When I purchased this house and hired Roy Sklarin to design it, we discussed my love for modern architecture,” he said. “Once he came up with the plans, it was a perfect match of his vision on my love for modern architecture.”
Appropriately, the entry of the house designed by the Beverly Hills architect is flanked by a waterfall, uses water elements in outdoor living spaces and, of course, there’s a pool.
Rory Barish of Keller Williams Realty, Beverly Hills, has the listing.
