Earthquake: 3.7 quake strikes near Greenville, Calif.

A shallow magnitude 3.7 earthquake was reported Thursday afternoon eight miles from Greenville, Calif., northeast of Chico, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 2:08 p.m. PDT at a depth of 0 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 29 miles from Susanville, Calif., 34 miles from Magalia, Calif., 39 miles from Paradise, Calif., and 99 miles from Carson City, Nev.
In the last 10 days, there have been 31 earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
