A 47-year-old man was convicted Thursday of molesting three family members in San Pedro, prosecutors said.
Between the mid-1990s and 2002, prosecutors say, Vicente Bojorquez molested two girls and a boy, all under the age of 14, in San Pedro. A female victim came forward in 2010, and soon after, other family members revealed they had also been sexually assaulted, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office.
Bojorquez was arrested during a visit to Southern California from Mexico in December 2012, and has remained in custody ever since. He was found guilty Thursday of six counts of lewd acts upon a child under 14, prosecutors said.
Bojorquez, who is scheduled to be sentenced May 19, faces more than 45 years to life in state prison.
