Suspected Mission Viejo burglar caught on video

Orange County deputies are looking for a man believed to have burglarized a Mission Viejo home in February while the homeowners were sleeping upstairs.
The man, believed to be 17 to 20 years old with dark hair, entered the home on Feb. 18 through an unlocked sliding door about 3 a.m., the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.
Investigators said he stole $1,200 worth of iPads and cash from a resident’s purse.
The burglary was captured on surveillance footage from a camera installed by the homeowner. Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man in the video.
