A single-engine plane crashed into a home in San Jose on Sunday afternoon, officials said.
The Cessna 172 crashed about 300 yards northwest of the Reid-Hillview Airport, a small general aviation airport, right after departing around 3 p.m., said Ian Gregor, a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration.
Three people were on board, but Gregor did not have information on their conditions. It’s unclear if anyone was inside the home.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the cause of the crash.
