Man wanted in connection with shooting death of Pasadena woman

Pasadena police have identified a man as a person of interest in the shooting death of a woman on Sunday.
John John Crummie, described as approximately 20 years old, was identified as the person of interest in the case, but police warned the public not to approach him, KTLA-TV reported.
“He may or may not be armed,” police Lt. Terysa Rojas told the station. “We don’t know that.”
HOMICIDE REPORT: A story for every victim
The shooting occurred shortly before 9 a.m. in the 1500 block of North Raymond Avenue, with police responding to reports of possible gunfire in the area.
After arriving, police officers discovered a 19-year-old woman dead inside her home.
Authorities have not released the name of the victim, but family and friends told KTLA that the woman was Irais Acosta, and said she had been dating Crummie.
In the last 12 months, there has been one homicide in Pasadena, according to the Times Homicide Report database.
