Reader Photo: Foggy morning
Sandrine Biziaux-Scherson kicked off her new year at a familiar location -- the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary in Irvine -- to photograph birds and other wildlife.
She headed there in the morning to shoot in the fog, which she says adds enchantment to the area. Fortunately, a crowd of birds was catching crayfish that morning, and she was able to get the right shot before the fog faded.
“Wildlife photography is my passion. That’s what I do every day,” she said. “SJWS is a great wildlife pocket in an urban landscape.”
Biziaux-Scherson used a Nikon D7100 with a 300 mm f/4.0 lens to make this image on Jan. 1.
