Readers React: The naked truth about Playboy

To the editor: For those of us males who grew up with Hugh Hefner’s iconic skin magazine, the publication going “non-nude” is like saying that Subway will no longer be serving sandwiches. (“When naked just isn’t that sexy,” Column, Oct. 15)
I guess the demise of the naked-babes part of Playboy was inevitable with the proliferation of the “anything goes” Internet, but it will be fondly remembered by a generation of erstwhile adolescents as the miracle magazine that was always just out of reach behind the counter at the drugstore.
