Twitter celebrates #TrumpisDisqualifiedParty, is crushed to discover it’s not real

Is Donald Trump disqualified from becoming president because of his remarks on Muslim immigration? No. At least not in the technical sense.
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest on Tuesday pointed out several "corrosive" statements from Trump's campaign thus far, calling his statement on Muslims "morally reprehensible." "The fact is, what Donald Trump said yesterday disqualifies him from serving as president."
The remark set off a flurry of activity on Twitter as Trump haters apparently thought President Obama's aide had broken the news that the bombastic candidate had actually been disqualified from serving.
Twitter user @toxicityy immediately got the #TrumpisDisqualified party started.
The celebration lasted a couple of hours.
Attendees theorized that a few of the other candidates might be joining in.
Of course, Earnest was speaking figuratively. Trump is not disqualified from becoming president because of his stance. When Twitter realized it, the mood at the #TrumpisDisqualifiedParty turned dark.
Lesson learned: If Trump ever does bow out of the presidential race, make sure you RSVP to the Twitter party ASAP
