Police Files for Aug. 6

High Drive and Acacia Drive: A caller reported at 1:13 p.m. Monday that two people tried to break into cars.

Bluff Drive: A bonfire at Tablerock Beach was reported at 9:23 p.m. Monday.

Glenneyre Street: Trespassing was reported in the 1200 block at 7:44 a.m. Sunday. A caller said he found someone sleeping on his couch.

Ocean Way: Vandalism was reported in the 1700 block at 2:11 p.m. Sunday. A caller said a neighbor cut his trees while he was out of town.

Balboa Avenue: Trespassing was reported in the 29900 block at 10:24 a.m. Saturday. A caller reported someone climbed over a fence and took photos of goats.

Laguna Canyon Road: Battery was reported in the 20200 block at 11:43 a.m. Saturday. A 15-year-old boy said someone pushed him off a trail and threw his phone.

Griffith Way: Petty theft was reported in the 600 block at 11:56 a.m. Saturday. A caller said someone stole sunglasses and reusable shopping bags from an unlocked 2008 Mercedes.

Mountain Road: A caller reported a topless photo shoot at Mountain Street Beach at 8 p.m. Saturday.
