Baseball camp for youth begins Monday

Huntington Beach High will host the Youth Baseball Camp beginning

Monday at the school’s baseball fields.

The camp, where instruction is provided by the varsity baseball

coaches at Huntington Beach High, runs daily from 1 to 4 p.m. through

July 14.

Amaral Baseball Camps to begin

Rich Amaral Baseball Camps will conduct two summer sessions for

youth ages 6 to 12.

The first camp opens Monday and runs through July 15. The second

camp will be held July 25-29.

Both camps will be run at Ocean View Little League. Times for the

camp are 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. for a

Double Header Club.

The fee per participant is one camp for $185 and $345 for both

camps. An additional $65 per week is required per player who wishes

to participate in the Double Header Club.

Football coaches’ clinic offered

Local youth players and coaches involved with Huntington Beach Pop

Warner Football and Huntington Beach Jr. All-American Football are

invited to participate in the Bruce Rollinson Football Camp and Bruce

Rollinson Youth Football Coaches Clinic.

The two events will be held at Mater Dei High in Santa Ana.

The coaches’ clinic will be held from 2 to 5:30 p.m. on July 16,

and the cost is $25 per participant.

The youth football camp will run from 9 a.m. to noon on July 16

and 17. It is open to players ages 10 to 14 at a cost of $75 per

player.

The registration fee includes a camp T-shirt.

Youth football camp coming to Edison

West Football Camps will conduct its fourth annual Fundamental

Youth Football Camp at Edison High School beginning July 23.

Open to youth ages 7 to 14, the two-day camp concludes on July 25.

Instruction will be given by former NFL players and local high school

players, and the cost is $170 per camper.

Golden West Water Polo session begins

Golden West Water Polo Club, a year-round competitive water polo

team, is running its summer session now through Aug. 21.

The club is open to youth ages 7 to 14. Participants must be able

to swim 25 yards.

Practices will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday

at the Golden West College Pool.

A session will run from Aug. 1 to Aug. 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. every

Tuesday and Thursday at Golden West College.
