Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan to attend USA Basketball camp

Three Clippers players will attend USA Basketball minicamp next week in Las Vegas in preparation for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro -- Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.
Besides the Clippers, only two other teams (Cleveland and Golden State) have three or more members attending the camp.
This will be Paul’s third straight opportunity to participate in the Olympic Games. He was a member of the USA Basketball teams that won gold medals in Beijing in 2008 and London in 2012.
Griffin was going to play for Team USA at the London Olympics, but he tore the meniscus in his left knee during a workout. Last year he withdrew from the Team USA training camp for the FIBA World Cup because of a back injury.
Jordan was not one of the 41 players named to the initial invite list, despite averaging a league-leading 15 rebounds a game and shooting 71% from the field last season. He is one of eight players added to the 2014-16 USA National Team roster.
Duke Coach Mike Krzyzewski will return for his third stint at the helm of Team USA. USA Basketball is 75-1 since he over in 2005.
