The Clippers (28-14) are in sixth place in the Western Conference. The Nets (18-24) are in eighth place in the East.
The Clippers have won three consecutive games and nine of their last 10 against Brooklyn at home. They are averaging 106.7 points a game while the Nets are averaging 95.7.
Nets point guard Deron Williams is out indefinitely with fractured rib cartilage. The Clippers recalled rookie C.J. Wilcox from the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Wednesday. Wilcox played in four games with the team, averaging 14.3 points a game.
After hosting the Nets at 7:30 p.m., the Clippers are set to play the Suns in Phoenix on Sunday. Then it’s a home game Monday against the Denver Nuggets before the start of an eight-game trip.
