Andre Ethier out of Dodgers lineup for NLCS Game 2

ST. LOUIS -- Andre Ethier is back on the Dodgers’ bench.
Skip Schumaker will start in center field for the Dodgers in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series on Saturday.
Ethier limped out of the visiting clubhouse after a 3-2 loss on Friday night with a team doctor by his side. Ethier started Game 1 in center field, his first start since Sept. 13.
Ethier has been hampered by discomfort above his left ankle -- a condition similar to shin splints -- and he was limited to pinch-hitting in the NL division series.
The starting pitchers: the Dodgers’ Clayton Kershaw, who led the major leagues in earned-run average, against the St. Louis Cardinals’ Michael Wacha, who threw 7-1/3 no-hit innings in his postseason debut last week.
