Baseball: Hamilton to play Verdugo Hills in Saturday’s Dennis Gilbert final

The 24-team Dennis Gilbert Spring Baseball Classic is down to two teams: Hamilton and Verdugo Hills. They will meet in Saturday’s noon championship game at the Urban Youth Academy.
Hamilton defeated Van Nuys, 5-0, in the semifinals. Dylan Israel and Peter Rolon each had three hits.
Verdugo Hills defeated Dorsey, 4-1. Austin Obregon had two hits and two RBIs.
