Baseball: San Gorgonio left-hander Hazahel Quijada strikes out 17

San Gorgonio has a junior left-handed pitcher, Hazahel Quijada, who’s having a tremendous season. He struck out 17 on Tuesday in San Gorgonio’s 7-2 win over Rialto in a San Andreas League game.
On the season, Quijada is 6-1 with an 0.74 ERA and 64 strikeouts in 38 innings.
San Gorgonio is 13-2 and 5-1 in league.
