The South Bay Summer Baseball League semifinals are set for Friday: Redondo at Torrrance, 2:30 p.m. and Palos Verdes at West Torrance, noon.
Thursday’s results: West Torrance 6, Peninsula 1; Palos Verdes 3, Banning 0; Redondo 7, North Torrance 6; Torrance 12, South Torrance 6.
