Boys’ basketball: Crespi is 21-1 after rout of St. Francis

Encino Crespi improved to 21-1 overall and 7-0 in the Mission League after a 69-32 road victory over St. Francis on Monday night.
Mitch Mykhaylov scored 16 points for the Celts, who face Harvard-Westlake on Wednesday.
In the Western League, Fairfax defeated Palisades, 95-54. Babacar Thiombane had 14 points and Donald Gipson 12.
In the Marine League, Matthew Mondesir had 34 points and 11 rebounds in Washington’s 89-52 win over Carson.
In the East Valley League, Angel Reinosa had 20 points and 10 rebounds in Poly’s 65-60 win over Verdugo Hills. Grant defeated Arleta, 75-59, behind Chad Holloway, who scored 28 points. North Hollywood defeated Verdugo Hills, 54-49.
In the Valley Mission League, Van Nuys defeated Canoga Park, 61-60. Kyle Lord had 17 points. Daniel Boatwright scored 23 points for Canoga Park.
In the Coliseum League, Dorsey defeated Manual Arts, 101-59. Cameron Evans scored 29 points, Lafayette Dorsey 24 and Johnathan Staggers 17. Fremont defeated Crenshaw, 78-76. Dayshone Henry contributed 17 points and 15 rebounds for Fremont. Lou Walter had 20 points and Marquis Mckinzy added 18 points, including clutch free throws.
Rancho Mirage improved to 21-0 with a 76-43 win over Shadow Hills. Charles Neal finished with 21 points.
In a girls’ basketball game for first place in the Western League, Palisades defeated Fairfax, 63-57.
